Oklahoma Health Agents is an independent insurance agency dedicated to one thing: helping Oklahoma individuals, families, and employers find the right health coverage. We are part of the Independent Health Agents network, which has been helping people get insured since 2007.
Who We Are
We are licensed health insurance agents who work in the Oklahoma market every day. We quote and enroll individual and family ACA plans, Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans, small group coverage for employers from 2 to 150 employees, and the dental, vision, and short term plans that fill the gaps.
Because we are independent, we do not work for any one insurance company. We represent Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Ambetter, Oscar, CommunityCare, Humana, and dozens of other carriers – and we will tell you plainly when one of them is the wrong fit. Our reviews of the plans we sell include what the plans do badly, not just what the brochures say.
Why Use an Agent at All?
- It costs you nothing. Premiums are filed with the state and are identical whether you enroll through us, through healthcare.gov, or directly with the carrier. The carrier pays us – your rate does not change.
- We know the networks. The plan that looks cheapest often uses a network that does not include your hospital. We check before you enroll, not after.
- We stay after the sale. Claim denied, subsidy paperwork, renewal spike, doctor left the network – you call us, not a carrier phone tree.
How We Work
- Quote. Use our online tools to compare plans and real prices with no contact information required, or call us and we will run it for you.
- Compare. We narrow it to the two or three plans that actually fit your doctors, medications, and budget, and we tell you the trade-offs.
- Enroll. We handle the application, the subsidy paperwork, and the effective dates.
- Support. Every year at renewal we re-shop it. If a better plan exists, we will tell you – even when it pays us less.
